Leica made two TV ads that appeared on German television in the Fall of 2000, one on the M6 (3.4 MB), the other on the C1 compact camera (3.4 MB), both in MPEG file format. |

An interesting feature appeared on the German TV Station DW in March 2008, showing insights into the Leica factory and an interview with CEO Andreas Kaufmann. According to this, Leica's current monthly production is about 1000 digital M8 bodies and about 500 analogue M bodies (QuickTime, 19.3 MB). |
